Lisa McCleary, PhD, LSSP, BCBA-D

Lisa McCleary, Ph.D., LSSP, BCBA-D is a licensed psychologist with more than 10 years of experience providing psychological services to children and their families, school teams, and adults. Lisa is passionate about supporting women as they navigate their life journey and all the challenges of adjustment that come along the way

Lisa grew up in East Texas until she was 15. At that time, her family moved to Vermont where she finished high school and completed her Bachelor of Arts in Developmental Psychology at Castleton University. Before relocating back to Texas, she earned her master’s in educational psychology and her Ph.D. in School Psychology. During her studies, Lisa gravitated toward experiences that allowed collaboration with teachers and parents in order to help children be more successful in school. During her training, she accrued over 2,000 hours of post-doctoral supervised experience by both a licensed psychologist and board certified behavior analyst (BCBA).

Lisa spent seven years working in East Tennessee and Texas providing psychological services to schools and families with children with social, emotional, and/or developmental delays. She spent two years as an Assistant Professor and mentor for aspiring school psychologists at Stephen F. Austin State University. In the past year, she has worked in private practice providing psychological assessment and intervention services to children and adults.
